Baraonda by Nasomotto Estrait de Parfum 30 ml. or 1.0 fl.oz.
$185.00 $92.50
A mysterious addition to the Nasomatto line, Baraonda comes with few clues attached. The name means “chaos” or “uproar” in Italian, but the fragrance itself is subtle and almost transparent. The nose of this fragrance warns us that it will evoke “a raw taste sensation”….but what we taste is both comforting and refined.
The brains (and nose) behind Nasomatto is Alessandro Gualtieri, an Italian perfumer who has created scents for Versace, Valentino, Helmut Lang, Fendi, Diesel, and more. Gualtieri was educated in the art of perfumery in Germany and built a successful career working with artists, niche brands and major designers - but after being rejected more and more for his radical concepts, he decided to strike out on his own. Gualtieri established his Amsterdam-based brand in 2007 and called it Nasomatto (Italian for ‘crazy nose’). The first series of fragrances was released later that year.
The perfumes in Nasomatto’s collection are modern, rich and full of personality, reflecting Alessandro’s explosive joie de vivre and love of all things fragranced. Each one is highly concentrated parfum extrait (the lasting power is remarkable) and presented in beautiful, stacked architectural bottles topped with wooden caps.
